Bourbon County Marching Colonels Capture 1st Place at 4A East Regionals

PARIS, KY — The Bourbon County High School Marching Colonels delivered an electrifying performance on Saturday, October 18, 2025, securing a definitive 1st place finish in Class AAAA at the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) East Regional Quarterfinals. The competition was hosted at Madison Southern High School, featuring a lineup of top-tier marching ensembles from across Eastern Kentucky.

The Marching Colonels’ 2025 production, “Motif,” captivated the judging panel and the stadium audience alike. The show, which is a powerful exploration of recurring musical and visual ideas, was praised for its sophisticated musical arrangements and dynamic visual choreography, bringing the concept of development and repetition to life on the field.
