Excitement is building in Paris as the award-winning Bourbon County Marching Band prepares to host an event like no other. On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the community is invited to the Bourbon County High School Cafeteria for a day of delicious food and high-stakes fun at the annual Spaghetti Lunch and Quarter Auction.
The event kicks off with lunch at 11:30 AM. For just $10, attendees will enjoy a full meal including spaghetti, fresh salad, garlic bread, and a drink.
Following the meal, the atmosphere will shift to high gear at approximately 1:00 PM for the Quarter Auction. This fan-favorite event is a unique cross between a raffle and an auction where participants use “paddles” to bid on a wide array of prizes.
A Legacy of Success
This fundraiser comes on the heels of another historic season for the Bourbon County Marching Band. Known across the state as a powerhouse of musical and visual performance, the band continued its tradition of excellence this past year.
The ensemble earned top honors at multiple regional competitions and delivered a standout performance at the KMEA State Championships. Their dedication to precision and artistry has not only brought home trophies but has also solidified their reputation as one of the premier high school marching programs in Kentucky.
How the Auction Works
Participants are encouraged to “bring their quarters,” as each bid costs only $0.25. To participate, guests must purchase a bidding paddle. The first paddle is $5, with additional paddles available for just $1 each. In a special “early bird” incentive, anyone who purchases a spaghetti lunch will receive $2 off their first paddle, bringing the initial cost down to just $3.
